Ger Carey is back with his hilarious stand-up comedy show, created specially for Transition Year Students. By secretly observing his subjects in their natural habitats – leaning on lamp posts, in chippers, outside chippers, in shopping centres, sitting on any kind of steps – Ger has uncovered the weird and frightening world of the teenager.

What’s the best wrong answer ever given by a student? Why do lads always have to get to the back of the bus? In class, why is a pigeon on the window sill so fascinating? These and many more equally pertinent questions will be answered by Ger Carey, as he uses comedy to get young people to laugh at themselves and appreciate the differences of others. Stand-up comedy during school hours! What’s not to like?

Ger has been performing and refining this hugely succesful show since 2008. His current nationwide tour will take him to almost every threatre in the country over the coming months.

“Portrays the teenage mindset with extreme honesty and classic humour.” – TY Co-ordinator, Dundalk.

“Not only could I relate the characters to my students, but I could relate the teachers to myself – a hilarious show.” – TY Co-ordinator, Meath.

“Hilarious but real. A must see.” -TY Co-ordinator, Donegal.
