Donegal Bay and Blue Stacks Festival is delighted to partner with Mountcharles Opera Festival and the Bluestack Chorale, to present Songs for An Autumn Evening. Performers will also include Bluestack ensemble founders and soloists Deborah Cunningham (soprano) and Paul Martin (tenor). The accompanist for the evening is Evan McGarrigle.

The Bluestack Chorale never fail to bring a diverse, challenging and always interesting programme to their audience and this year will be no different.  A journey from opera, through swing-time Americana to touching Irish laments,   there’s something for everyone at Songs for an Autumn Evening.  Indeed, they are proud to debut a choral arrangement of Dún do Shúil (A Famine Lullaby) by their own Evan McGarrigle,  along with Mary From Dungloe which he arranged especially for The Bluestack Chorale in 2015.

For the opera lover – or indeed novice, Deborah, Paul and Evan will delight and entertain with their ever-popular duets and arias from Mozart and Faust – brought to you in their own, inimitable style!
