Maura Logue’s lovable 1960s Donegal country girl is back in the third instalment of her Drumshee Series and this time it’s all about the art of performance. The year is 1961 and Drumshee dry dancehall is about to host its first ever drama production. As ever, Nora Gallagher, Cloakroom Girl, has a bird’s eye view of the proceedings.

Maura Logue is an actor, playwright, theatre director and producer from Donegal. Founder and artistic director of Dark Daughter Productions, she has created many memorable theatre works for the Festival including 2019’s The Housekeeper and 2016’s Mother Courage. She has directed the annual Donegal Bay and Blue Stacks Festival Carnival Parade since 2001. She first developed the popular Nora Gallagher Drumshee series as an online theatre piece for the 2020 festival.
