Nothing But An Old Weed

Nothing But An Old Weed is the debut play of Rossnowlagh-based actor and musician, Fiona Maria Fitzpatrick. Set amidst the dark and dusty wastelands of the mind, a woman picks her way through the debris in search of hope. With dreams faded and answers running thin, she digs through the memories, determined to uncover whatever fragments may remain. With God, Granny and the Dog all watching, can she recall and reclaim the lost bones of her past? And what in almighty God might be stirred up in the process? A gritty solo performance, full of sharp humour and thoughtful reflection.

Nothing But An Old Weed was premiered at Cavan Arts Festival this summer and had a further successful outing at the recent West Cork Fit-Up Theatre Festival.
