Paul McIntyre Quartet

The Paul McIntyre Quartet perform a range of music influenced by Jazz from the 1950’s including modern Jazz, Latin, Swing and Bop. Paul McIntyre is a multi-instrumentalist – piano and saxophone primarily –  and vocalist and he developed his jazz performance career while performing with his father, the Irish Jazz icon, Gay McIntyre. For this evening’s performance, he will be joined by some of the finest jazz sidemen and the music is sure to thrill and enthrall the audience. The Paul McIntyre Quartet perform regularly at jazz clubs in Derry, Belfast and Dublin, at international festivals and for many national broadcasters.

For this evening’s performance, Paul will be joined by virtuoso Dublin jazz guitarist, Hugh Buckley, bass player Alan Niblock, formerly of the Gay McIntyre Quartet and by drummer Jim Whiteside, a former member of much loved Northern Irish rock band, Toejam.
