Rónán Galvin is a fiddle player and folklorist, who lives in Glenties. He has an MA in Irish Folklore and is involved in various projects at the Irish Folklore Collection including Captured by Song, on the song collector Tom Munnelly. Under the title of A Musical Landscape, Rónán has also created two digital maps for Cairdeas na bhFidléirí, based on the homesteads of noted traditional musicians, past and present, of  South West and of East Donegal.

Vincent Woods, broadcaster, poet and playwright is presenter of the RTÉ radio series, the County Measure. Apart from his poetry collections, Vincent has written several plays including At the Black Pig’s Dyke (1992), exploring the folklore of the border counties including his native Leitrim.

Eithne Ní Ghallchobhair, an award winning storyteller and author, is a native of Ardara. She is passionate about the oral tradition in South West Donegal and in particular the older stories concerning Fianna Éireann such as Scéal Loch FInne.

Annie Quinn is a visual artist and jewellery designer from Na Grianáin in the Glen of Glenties, who has a deep appreciation of the oral and music tradition of the Bluestack Mountains. Annie and Eithne worked together and encouraged schoolchildren from the area to create artwork based on Scéal Loch Finne. This work will feature both on the walk and as part of the exhibition at Halla Éadáin Fhinn Fhraoich.

Jesse Smith is not only an outstanding fiddle player but also a talented graphic and visual artist. He created thirteen pieces of art drawing on different phases of the legend, starting with the Fianna approaching the House of Léithín and ending with the Battle at Loch Muc. Jesse’s artwork will be exhibited at Halla Éadáin Fhinn Fhraoich, while a small number will also feature as part of the walk.

Ye Vagabonds, brothers Brían and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn, are an acclaimed folk music duo who have a particular affinity with Donegal through their family connection with Oileán Aráinn Mhór and the singing of Róise (Rua) Mac Grianna. They perform both in Irish and English and for this project they were commissioned to compose a piece based on Scéal Loch FInne. Ye Vagabonds will perform both at the concert at Halla Éadáin Fhinn Fhraoich and at different stages of the walk, earlier in the day.
