The Bluestack Chorale presents
Songs for An Autumn Evening
With Deborah Cunningham, Soprano. Paul Martin, Baritone. Evan McGarrigle, Piano.
The Bluestack Chorale, with Deborah Cunningham, Paul Martin and Evan McGarrigle, perform a programme of music to lighten the spirit as the evenings draw in, which includes arrangements of songs by Evan McGarrigle and byLimerick based singer-songwriter, Emma Langford.
There will, of course, also be some favourites from their Mountcharles Opera Festival back-catalogue. Deborah, Evan and Paul have worked together for over a decade to produce the popular, annual opera festival at Salthill House and Gardens. Accompanied by The Bluestack Chorale, their programming covers a repertoire stretching through the centuries, from early sacred music right up to modern pop favourites.
Deborah Cunningham holds a Recital Diploma from Trinity College, London. She is the founder of the Mountcharles Opera Festival and formed the Donegal Voices vocal ensemble in 2013.
Paul Martin is one of Donegal’s premier baritones. He is musical director of The Bluestack Chorale and of St. Agatha’s Choir, Donegal.
Evan McGarrigle is an award-winning pianist. He is much in demand as a solo performer and runs a successful music school. A gifted music arranger, he is also director of the Donegal Abbey Singers and a popular tutor with the Donegal Music Education Partnership (DMEP).
