TRAMP

TRAMP are a border-hopping, indie quartet with members from Donegal, Derry and Tyrone. Winners of the BBC Introducing Artist of the Year Award in 2023, the band’s recently released single, The Birds (Lowered Suspension), quickens the already high levels of anticipation for their forthcoming debut EP, The Bird-Cat-Dog Metaphor, due at the end of October.
Self-proclaimed ‘genre-queer’, ‘Donegal-accented’ and ‘as exciting and energetic as a zumba class’ (no standing about at a Tramp gig!), they cite Big Thief, Sinéad O’Connor and Pavement as early influences. Their music has been hailed as ‘stunning…combining a potent melodic indie rock with the blissed-out noise of grunge’ (Louder Than War).
Tramp are Siânna Lafferty, Fionnbarr Doran, Ellie McFadden and Ciaran McCay. They play the Ireland Music Week festival in Dublin on October 4th. and the BBC Introducing Live event at the Mandela Hall, Belfast on October 25th.
Final Girl (formerly known as Polxroid) are a four-piece band from Ballybofey, who are turning heads with their catchy punk melodies set against a backdrop of unflinching distortion and fleeting pop sensibilities. With a DIY approach and a memorable live sound that’s been described as ‘garage punk beside a haunted house’, the band are currently in the process of recording their debut EP. Final Girl are Catherine Gallagher, Ciarán Coleman, Conor Duffy and Sean Coleman.
