Treehouse Live presents
Elaine Malone, support Aoife Wolf
Elaine Malone has been immersed in Cork’s thriving DIY music scene for over a decade. An accomplished multi-instrumentalist, she incorporates harmonium, guitar, percussion and bass into her multifaceted arrangements.
An eclectic array of influences – from 90s grunge to the Velvet Underground to the storied country music of Lee Hazelwood – colour her brilliantly expansive psych-rock material. Elaine released her critically acclaimed debut EP, Land, in 2018. Her most recent recording, Pyrric, was issued by Pizza Pizza (Just Mustard, Altered Hours ) this summer.
Aoife Wolf is a psych-folk singer-songwriter from the Midlands. Influenced by Kate Bush, Elizabeth Fraser and PJ Harvey, she has been making some of the most magnetic music around in recent times.
Specialising in dark murder ballads, previous singles like The Woman Who Shot Andy Warhol marked her out as a very special talent indeed. Live, the Offaly performer is just as spellbinding, with her appearance at last year’s Ireland Music Week stealing the show.
