Treehouse Live presents
Jinx Lennon, support Rising Damp.
Legendary Dundalk punk troubadour and fearless social commentator Jinx Lennon has released 13 albums to-date, has supported The Fall and toured with John Cooper Clarke.
His life as an artist was documented by RTÉ 1 Television as part of its Arts Lives series in 2007 and a radio drama based on Jinx’s music, Know Your Station by playwright Mikel Murfi, was broadcast on RTÉ Radio 1 the following year.
Last year, he was featured as part of the TG4 series Cumasc : Seisiúin sa Black Gate and also appeared on the Tommy Tiernan Show performing his song, Pushing the Patients Round. Recent album releases have included Border Schizo Folk Songs, Liferafts for Latchicos and Pet Rent. C’mon the Town
Rising Damp was originally the solo project of Dublin-based visual artist and musician Michelle Doyle but has now expanded to include Ivan Pawle on synth and guitar and Sarah Grimes on drums. Their live performances include sound improvisations, spoken word and intriguing visuals. A very well-received debut EP, Petrol Factory, was released in 2020.
